Well, sorta... Charlotte is now hard at work at gaining valuable life experience after completing her first week in Daycare... and it could not have gone much better than it did. I'll admit, I was a bit nervous after the try-out day last week, but not for Charlotte's performance but for Sara's.As most folks would probably agree, it's got to be pretty tough being separated from your little one after 3 whole months of having her by your side every moment of the day. The days/weeks leading up to the official start of daycare were filled with many bouts of tears. Sometimes, it seemed that Sara could not hold onto Charlotte for more than 10 minutes without bustin' out.
Come D-day though, Sara, (and Charlotte) handled the drop of with such incredible poise and composure, enough for any husband to be proud of. That's not to say that there will not be hurdles in the future but if this past week is any evidence, I can be rest assured that everything is going to work out just fine.
And yes, she still asked me occasionally "Do you want to get second job so I can stay home?" She kids though... At least I hope...
