I have been asked to give more frequent baby updates. I guess I can do that... So last night, Sara had several contractions. Although they were fairly painless and inconsistent they were still contractions. It has brought this baby thing to being as real as it's ever been.
Since Sara is officially on maternity leave, and the weather was so crappy today, I decided that I was not going to brave the commute into work and stay home... just in case. Thankfully, nothing happened for us today so we did not have to travel in the mess but I remain on-guard.
The countdown continues!

The requester of the more frequent baby updates thanks you :)
ReplyDeleteI did not request this, but I am glad that you are posting frequently, as you will only remain in my "Daily" bookmark folder if you blog at least once a week. Anyway, what else do you do when there's a foot of snow outside? And you would not leave a friend in need of procrastination hanging with stale blogs.
ReplyDeleteI am sure that the next couple of weeks may be hectic and exciting, and know that I am up in lil Rhody rooting for the safe delivery of little miss Wallace and an easy delivery for Mrs. Wallace! I expect at least a blackberry-facebook-status update as soon as she's born!!
xoxo

Dee, no problem. Happy to do it. Just been a little crazy here... but having fun!
ReplyDeleteSocks, Glad to be of service and entertainment. Truly though, thanks for the good wishes and you'll definitely hear from us on D-day (or shortly after depending on timing; don't want to get called out for not pulling through on a 12:58 pm delivery).
